The National Journalist Commission (NJC) is the collective voice of journalists, dedicated to upholding press freedom, integrity, and responsibility in society. Registered under the West Bengal Trust Act (1963), NJC not only works for the rights and safety of journalists but also contributes to the development and well-being of our communities.
Our initiatives extend beyond journalism—ranging from blood donation camps, student awareness programs, and tree plantation drives to other social welfare activities that strengthen our society. We are equally committed to training and guiding journalists, helping them uphold ethical standards and grow in their profession.
